All Party Parliamentary Group on Children, Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer

About the APPG CTYAC

Our Mission:

As a group, we will work as a cross-party coalition of MPs and Peers, offering opportunities within parliament for young cancer patients and their families to share their experiences. The APPG will be a forum that amplifies their voices and raises awareness of the issues that matter to them, with the aim of influencing positive change.

Our Purpose:

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Children, Teenagers and Young Adults with cancer commits to being a forum which brings children, teenagers and young adults with cancer and their families, together with parliamentarians, as well as the cancer sector and NHS professionals, within Parliament.

Secretariat:

As experts in children and young people’s cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer have partnered up to provide the Secretariat for the Group. This means that we work together to support the APPG to meet, engage with young cancer patients and their families, provide administrative support, coordinate events and act as the main point of contact.
